Contributed by Darryl CurranSeeing Jerry Uelsmann’s portrait of Robert Heinecken, as found on the “Heinecken in Retrospect” web-page, set my memory in motion. I remembered that, more than thirty years ago, at “The Friends of Photography” workshop in Carmel Valley, I had taken a couple of photographs as Jerry posed, directed and focused his camera on Heinecken. Searching, I found the proof sheet, and submitted them to this web-site, in hopes that it will spur similiar memories in others.
I encourage Robert Heinecken’s friends, colleagues, admirers, students and others who have been influenced by him to share any and all pictures, stories, remarks, or anecdotes.
